Imagro Construction, based in Milan, is a Joint Venture between Imagro and Orascom Construction.
Founded in February 2016, the company is unique in its structure as it leverages the benefits of its partners Imagro SPA and Orascom Construction.
Alongside Orascom Construction’s portfolio of companies, which includes its US and European subsidiaries, the company’s is focused on EPCs and development initiatives in the construction sector.
With a focus on selected international projects, the company is eligible for financing from European ECAs and financing institutions to promote Italian exports of goods and services.
This JV has been involved in some of the world’s largest power plants as well as key transportation projects in Egypt.

Previous projects include a collaboration with SACE for the management of Italian content provided by a large and complex chain of around 100 primarily Italian SME suppliers in relation to a major power-plant project awarded in 2015 by Egyptian Electric Holding Company to Siemens and Orascom Construction.
The JV also helped prepare, refine and administer SACE Buyer Credits arranged by HSBC and BNP Paribas. The 3-year construction period was managed smoothly with almost daily input and intervention from the JV.
